Shipping & Handling
How is the furniture protected?
Every piece is prepared for travel with sturdy panels, dense padding, and reinforced corners. Large, heavy items (tables, media units) travel via dedicated furniture freight with a truck lift. Smaller items use parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
What service level is provided?
Freight delivery is generally Ground-Level Drop-Off. This does not include in-home placement, stair carries, assembly, or packaging removal. Carriers often call or text ahead to schedule a delivery window.
Do I need to sign for the delivery?
For some higher-value shipments, an adult signature (18+) may be required. This will be noted in your tracking email. If “Authority to Leave” is selected, the risk transfers upon successful scan at the delivery point.
Payment & International Fees
What is the total cost at checkout?
The full USD total shown at checkout is the final price. It includes freight, handling, fuel, U.S. sales tax (where required), and international taxes/duties (prepaid).
Are there any hidden fees or COD charges?
Absolutely not. Zeltoape does not accept COD (Cash on Delivery). Taxes and duties are prepaid for eligible international orders. Do not pay the driver. If payment is requested at your door, contact Zeltoape immediately.
Delivery Restrictions
Where does Zeltoape deliver?
We deliver to all regions listed in the table above.
Are there any places Zeltoape cannot deliver to?
Yes. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO, or certain remote territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and some outlying islands). A standard street address is required for safe truck access.
Post-Shipment Issues
What if my item arrives damaged?
- Inspect upon arrival.
- Notify Zeltoape within 72 hours with the order number and clear photos/video of the outer box, inner packing, and damaged area.
- Note any visible damage with the driver, if possible, and keep all packing materials until instructed otherwise.
What if the shipment is lost?
If tracking shows no progress for 7+ days, or delivery is missed by 14 business days from the ship date, contact Zeltoape. Once the carrier confirms loss, Zeltoape will send a replacement at no charge or issue a full USD refund.
Can I change or cancel my order?
- Cancellations: Only possible if the order has not entered packing or shipped (ideally within 24 hours of purchase). Once handed off to the carrier, cancellation is not possible.
- Address Changes: May incur a reroute fee and delay delivery once dispatched.
